In Ground Pool Filters

Inground Pool Filters are vitally important to keeping your pool water crystal clear and clean. In ground pool filters come in three different types as shown below, with the best being Diatomaceous Earth (D.E.) Swimming Pool Filters. This is in large part because they use a cartridge type element which is then coated with a D.E. powder which will allow the filter down to 1 - 3 microns.

Here's a great way to decide on which type of filter to get. If you toss a quarter down into the bottom of a pool, with a sand or cartridge filter you can tell that it's a quarter. With a Diatomaceous Earth filter you can tell whether or not the quarter is heads or tales.

Two of the better known manufacturers of filters for in ground pools are Hayward and Pentair.
