  1. Why should I buy Above Ground Pools?  You've already decided that you want a pool, right?  The next question usually is "Do I want an Above Ground Pool or an In Ground Pool?"

How do I buy Above Ground Pools?  You can purchase your above ground pool from out web site or by calling us on the phone.  Some customers print out the "Order Offline" form and mail it in with a check.  If you decide to do this we will call and let you know of receipt of payment and expected ship date.  Ordering from us is extremely simple and easy.  Just give us a call and find out why people say we're the Pro's.

What type of Above Ground Pool Should I Buy?  This is a difficult question to answer because everyone's tastes, styles and pocketbooks are different.  But there are some basic points which will help you draw a conclusion on which type of above ground pool to purchase. First, Do you want a 48" or 52" deep pool.  Second, What size pool and shape best fits your backyard and your family.  Third, Determine which wall pattern fits your landscaping and community.  Typically you want to get a pool that compliments your backyard vacation area.  If the pool is the focus of the backyard then choose a pattern which fits the family personality.  Lastly, Always choose a pool with a SOLID warranty.  Above ground pools can last for years if you choose the right one.  Models which offer 100% warranty's or guarantees for the first two or three years and then have a long pro-rated warranty period generally are the better pools.  We offer two above ground pools that have the absolute best warranty on the market today.  What's even better is that their priced affordably.  They are the Malibu and the Monticello.  We also have 5 other high quality above ground pools.   1. How long does it take to put up the pool?  Once the site is level an above ground pool is typically assembled using 3 people in 1 day.  To be on the safe side plan on a weekend.

  2. How many people does it take to put up the pool?  Two people can put up most above ground pools, but we recommend that you always have that extra hand so we say 3.

  3. Can I bury the pool in the ground?  One of the potential dangers of burying a pool in the ground is the ground pressure pushing the side walls in and they collapse on someone.

  1. How many patio blocks do I need to go under the uprights?  Simply Add the number of uprights in the pool package and divide it in half because you can take a standard 12" x 12" x 1" patio block and have it cut in half.  (Hint: You can usually have the patio blocks cut at the supply store.)

  1. What size should the patio blocks be?  12" x 12" x 1" 

  1. How much sand do I need to put down for the pool?  

    15' Round - 1 yard 33' Round - 6 yards
    18' Round - 1.5 - 2 yards 15' x 25' Oval - 3 yards
    24' Round - 3 - 3.5 yards 15' x 30' Oval - 3 - 3.5 yards 
    28' Round - 4 yards 18' x 33' - 4 - 5 yards 


  1. Do I have to use sand?  No, not exactly.  The reason you use sand in the pool bottom is because the liner manufacturers require a non-abrasive material between the liner and the ground.  A product called Happy Bottom is a great substitute for Sand.
