Extend Your Swim Season with a Fabrico Sun Dome - (All-Vinyl vs. Screen/Vinyl)

The All Vinyl above ground pool dome comes as a vinyl top and sides. Each all vinyl dome comes with zippered windows and a zippered door with a matching zipper screen, making it possible to cross ventilate the all vinyl dome during the hot summer days. The vinyl windows and doors on these above ground pool domes come with a standard screen flap, making it possible to have the cross ventilation while keeping the pesky bugs out.  Click for Vinyl Pool Dome Details.

The Vinyl/Screen above ground pool dome comes as a vinyl top with screen sides and zippered windows and door. This pool dome is just like the all vinyl dome but it has screen sections around the perimeter of the above ground pool. The screen dome has a vinyl beanie on top and screen material starts at the bend in the poles of the framework.  Screen domes come in three colors blue, black, and forest green.  Click for Screen Pool Dome Details.

If you love your above-ground pool but hate the short season, constant debris, and cold water swings, a pool dome enclosure is one of the biggest comfort upgrades you can make. ProPools carries Fabrico Sun Dome enclosures in two configurations: All-Vinyl and Screen/Vinyl.

Quick decision guide

Why we offer the Fabrico Sun Dome

The Fabrico Sun Dome is designed to lengthen your swimming season, warm the air/water inside the dome, and help keep your pool cleaner from airborne debris. Domes are offered for round and oval above-ground pools.

What to consider before you buy

1) These domes are custom fit

To quote/order correctly, we typically need pool details like manufacturer/model, pool size/shape, upright count, and key top-rail measurements. Taking accurate measurements is the #1 step to a great fit.

2) Installation is very doable (but follow the rules)

  • Many above-ground domes go up with 2 people in about 2–3 hours.
  • Install on a calm day and follow the manufacturer safety guidance.
  • Important: the Sun Dome is not a winter cover—plan to remove just the dome for snow/ice conditions. (It is ok to leave up the frame.)

3) Plan for venting and humidity

  • All-Vinyl domes: zippered windows + zippered door and full size screen features for ventilation and bugs.
  • Screen/Vinyl domes: built for increased ventilation while retaining heat benefits.

Installation & safety notes

  • Read the full instruction manual before installing.
  • Avoid overhead power lines when assembling/positioning framework.
  • Do not install in windy weather; plan for calm conditions.
  • Do not allow anyone in the pool during installation.
  • Not a winter cover: remove dome for snow/ice seasons to avoid snow-load damage risk.

Maintenance & seasonal care

  • Keep doors/windows closed when not using the pool to reduce debris and pest intrusion.
  • Vinyl tension changes with temperature—adjust seasonally as needed.
  • Clean vinyl with mild detergent; avoid solvents/bleach that can cloud vinyl.
  • End of season: remove/store the cover clean & dry.
