This is a general overview of how to calculate the 'corner' radius of an inground swimming pool. You may need to know the pools' corner radius if you are purchasing a new pool vinyl liner or swimming pool winter safety cover.  This is a real simple thing to do and shouldn't take any longer than 15 minutes for one person.

 

 

Traditionally inground pools have any of these three types of  radius corners.

In the picture below, swimply draw a straight line from Point A to Point B and again from Point C to Point B. The measurements of section E and section D should be the same. This dimension is the corner radius dimension.
