Defining Inground Pool Radius Corners

Inground pools come in a variety of shapes and sizes that allow you to perfectly customize your backyard into the oasis of your dreams. After the size and shape have been decided on it is possible to add a unique look to the pool by choosing the appropriate radius corners.Not all in ground pools have radius corners available but most do.
 
 
You can choose a ‘sharp’ 6” radius corner, a medium 2’ radius corner or a ‘gentle’ sweeping 4’ radius corner to finish off the elegance of the pool. Pools we currently offer that have these options are the Rectangle, Roman and True-L Inground Pools. It is also possible to have more than one type of radius corner.For example, you may want a 2’ radius corner on two corners of the same side and 4’ radius corners on the others. Measuring Radius Corners

This is a general overview of how to calculate the 'corner' radius of in ground swimming pools. You may need to know the pools corner radius if you are purchasing a new pool vinyl liner or swimming pool safety cover. Additionally you'll need to know the pools' corner radius if you are doing a vinyl liner replacement or winter swimming pool cover replacement.
 
 
In the picture below, simply draw a straight line from Point A to Point B and again from Point C to Point B. The measurements of section E and section D should be the same. This dimension is the corner radius dimension.
